The STI STI-6402WIR is the wireless Exit Stopper Multifunction Door Alarm for double doors. First, the unit mounts beside the door pair with the included double reed switch. Then it pairs with a separate STI 433 MHz receiver. As a result, an unauthorized opening on either leaf triggers a local alarm and a supervised wireless report to the receiver.

Loss-prevention staff cannot always hear a local alarm from a remote door. However, hard-wiring a remote signal to every door is expensive. Therefore, the supervised 433 MHz wireless link reports each event to a central receiver up to 1000 feet away.
