The System Sensor 4WT-B is a four-wire i3 photoelectric smoke detector with a built-in thermal sensor. First, its optical chamber senses smoke from slow, smoldering fires. In addition, a fixed 135°F heat element adds a second path to alarm.
The i3 platform is a conventional detector line, not an addressable one. Therefore, it wires into standard four-wire initiating circuits. As a result, it suits both new installations and straightforward retrofits.
System Sensor 4WT-B intelligent features
The i3 design uses drift compensation and smoothing to limit nuisance alarms. Also, the detector signals when it needs maintenance or cleaning. Consequently, technicians spend less time on guesswork in the field.
Specifications
Operating voltage is 12/24V nominal (8.5 to 35 VDC). Also, average standby current is about 50 µA. Furthermore, the operating temperature range is 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C).
- Four-wire conventional i3 photoelectric smoke detector
- Fixed 135°F thermal sensor for added detection
- Drift compensation with maintenance signaling
- 12/24V nominal, 8.5 to 35 VDC operating range
- Operating temperature 32°F to 120°F
Finally, the 4WT-B fits offices, schools, and similar commercial spaces. However, always confirm panel compatibility before installation.
