The System Sensor DH400OE-1 is an all-weather outdoor enclosure for duct smoke detectors. First, it protects a DH400 or D4120 duct detector from harsh conditions. As a result, the detector keeps working in exposed outdoor locations. In addition, it shields the unit outdoors against rain, sleet, and snow. Likewise, it guards against dripping water indoors.

The enclosure uses durable 14-gauge galvanized steel. Also, a gray polyester powder-coat resists rust and corrosion. Therefore, it holds up in demanding rooftop and exterior installations. However, note that it is a housing, not a detector itself.
