The KIDDE COMMERCIAL EGCVHRF is a ceiling-mount Genesis LED EGCVH high-candela strobe. Specifically, it ships with a red housing and the “FIRE” marking.
First, the strobe is field-selectable for 135, 150, 177, or 185 cd output. Then, one device covers a wide range of spacing and occupant-load requirements. In addition, current draw stays constant across every candela setting.
Furthermore, the EGCVH strobe is backwards compatible with legacy Xenon strobes on the same NAC. As a result, you can mix LED and Xenon in the same field of view during a retrofit.

Mounting and Wiring
First, attach the GRSW-10 wiring plate to the electrical box. Then, land the strobe IN and OUT field wiring on the screw terminals. In addition, remove the shorting clip before snapping the appliance into the plate. Furthermore, the device snaps off the plate by pressing the bottom spring clip.
