The RSG RMS-2T pull station is the base DPST terminal-block-connection manual pull station in the RSG RMS Series. Furthermore, it suits commercial and institutional fire alarm initiating-device circuits.
First, the 2T model provides a double-pole single-throw switch with screw terminals. Then, the second pole supplies a clean spare contact for auxiliary use. As a result, integrators can wire both the main alarm and a secondary signal without an external relay.
In addition, the terminal-block connection simplifies field termination. However, the spare pole’s purpose depends on the panel design. Therefore, confirm panel input requirements before specifying.
RSG RMS-2T Housing & Switch Detail
The 2T uses the same low-profile die-cast indoor housing as the rest of the RMS line. Furthermore, the DPST switch terminates to internal screw terminals rather than pigtail leads. As a result, the station favors clean conduit-and-conductor installations.
