The Simplex 4100-1363 is a DigitalFlex 35-watt amplifier with three NACs at 25 VRMS for 4100ES and 4100U panels.
It drives speaker circuits in a fire alarm voice and alarm communication system. Specifically, it provides up to 35 watts of audio output. In addition, it includes three on-board Class B audio notification appliance circuits.
Simplex 4100-1363 ratings
Each amplifier is rated 1.4 A at 25 VRMS and supports up to 100 speakers. Alternatively, it delivers 0.5 A at 70.7 VRMS. The circuits also run with constant supervision. As a result, the panel continuously monitors the audio path for faults.
Power and backup
The 4100-1363 takes power from an XPS, RPS, or SPS power supply. Furthermore, it offers dual-channel operation with an internal backup path. Therefore, one amplifier carries both a primary and a backup audio channel.
