The Simplex 4100-5130 voltage regulator supplies regulated 25 VDC power inside Simplex 4100-series fire alarm panels. Specifically, it conditions DC power for the MX device loop and Monitor ZAMs. As a result, connected devices receive stable, isolated voltage.
What the Simplex 4100-5130 Voltage Regulator Does
This module produces a regulated, isolated output in the 22.8 to 26.4 VDC range. In addition, the output is resettable. Therefore, the host panel can cycle power to downstream devices when needed.
The module also includes an earth-fault detection circuit. Furthermore, a trouble relay reports the module’s status to the panel. As a result, a lost 24 VDC supply triggers a fault signal.
Where It Is Used
You install the 4100-5130 in a host Simplex fire alarm control panel. It serves the 4100ES, 4100U, and 4010ES platforms. Then it distributes conditioned power to the connected MX loop.
Not sure this is the right regulator for your panel? First, check the part number on your existing module. Then call our team to confirm compatibility before you order.
