The Resideo (748) is a self-contained 119 dB dual-tone siren for indoor and outdoor alarm systems. First, the siren wires to the panel’s bell output. Then, on alarm, it produces a steady or warble tone at full output.

The 748 ships ready to mount on a standard 4″ electrical box. As a result, no field disassembly is required for installation. Furthermore, a built-in trim ring hides the mounting screws for a clean finish.

Compatibility
The 748 is compatible with most wired security panels that publish a 12 VDC bell-output circuit. In addition, it works with Honeywell/Ademco VISTA panels using the bell terminals directly. However, the 748 is designed for intrusion bell-output drive — it is not a UL 464 fire alarm signaling appliance.
