The Altronix ACM4 is a four-output access power controller board. It converts one 12 to 24VAC or VDC input into four fused outputs. As a result, one power source can drive several locking devices. Each output is independently controlled.
Altronix ACM4 outputs and triggers
An access control system, card reader, keypad, or push button triggers each output. Specifically, an open-collector sink or a normally open dry contact activates it. In addition, each output runs in fail-safe or fail-secure mode. Therefore, the board suits mag locks, electric strikes, and door holders.
Each output fuse is rated 3A at 32V. Outputs can also convert to dry Form “C” contacts. A built-in FACP interface enables emergency egress. As a result, the fire alarm can release locks for safe exit.
Power and mounting
You can power the ACM4 from one common source. Alternatively, use two independent sources, one for the board and one for lock power. The board measures 5.175″ x 3.36″ x 1.25″. It is a UL Listed access power controller sub-assembly.
