The Notifier BMP-1 is a blank module dress plate for ACS annunciator backboxes and FACP dress panels. Specifically, it covers unused module positions while keeping the front of the panel uniform. As a result, installers can fill open slots in ACS systems and the ADP-4B or DP-DISP dress panels.
What the Notifier BMP-1 does
The BMP-1 primarily covers empty annunciator positions. However, it also mounts certain option modules from behind. Specifically, the plate includes four stand-offs. As a result, option modules like the NCM-W, NCM-F, or TM-4 mount inside the cabinet, hidden behind the blank front.
Where it fits
The BMP-1 is sized for the standard ACS annunciator module slot. Therefore, it matches the same opening used by ACM-24AT, ACM-16AT, and other ACS modules. In addition, the plate fits the backboxes and dress panels listed below.
Compatible enclosures include the surface-mount ABS-1B, ABS-2B, ABS-4D, and ABS-1TB backboxes. Furthermore, it fits the flush-mount ABF-1B, ABF-2B, and ABF-4B backboxes. Also, it works with the semi-flush ABF-1DB and ABF-2DB backboxes plus the hinged ADP-4B and DP-DISP dress panels.
Installation
First, slide the plate’s two mounting holes over the backbox screws above and below the slot. Then, attach the dress plate with the hex nuts provided.
