The ditek (dtk-120×12) Deflector SPD protects 120VAC service plus up to 12 low-voltage signaling pairs. Specifically, it combines a 20A AC surge module with a 6-position base for 2MHLP or 2MHTP low-voltage modules.
First, the included DTK-DF120M module protects the 120VAC, 20A power feed to the panel. Then, technicians populate the 6-position base with 2MHLP modules sized for each signaling circuit. As a result, one enclosure secures both power and signal entry to the panel.

Each 2MHLP module protects two circuit pairs at the matched voltage. Furthermore, mixing module voltages is allowed across the six positions. Therefore, a single DTK-120X12 can protect up to 12 SLC, NAC, IDC, PIV, network, or dialer circuits.

Typical Application
Use the DTK-120X12 at the service entrance to a fire alarm or burglar alarm panel. In addition, it suits buildings where SLC, NAC, and IDC pairs leave the building envelope. However, fire-alarm code-level fitness flows from the host panel listing, not from the SPD itself.
