The Edwards EST SIGA-HRS is a Signature Series intelligent addressable heat detector providing fixed-temperature-only thermal detection. Unlike combination detectors, the SIGA-HRS activates exclusively at its rated fixed-temperature threshold, making it the ideal choice for areas such as boiler rooms, commercial kitchens, attics, and other high-ambient-temperature environments where rate-of-rise detection would produce nuisance alarms.
The SIGA-HRS connects to the Edwards Signature Loop Controller (SLC) on a single address point, delivering real-time device health and alarm status to the fire alarm control panel. It supports the full Signature Series intelligent feature set: electronic addressing, automatic device type identification, and loop-level diagnostics. Installation is straightforward using the SIGA-SB or SIGA-IB base.
