The Edwards EST SIGA-PS is an intelligent addressable photoelectric smoke detector with integrated sounder from the Signature Series. In addition to detecting smoke via its photoelectric sensing chamber, the SIGA-PS incorporates a built-in piezoelectric sounder that can be activated locally from the fire alarm control panel — providing an audible alert at the detector location without requiring a separate notification appliance.
This combination of detection and local notification makes the SIGA-PS ideal for occupancies where early warning at the point of detection is critical: hotel corridors, healthcare patient rooms, office spaces, and residential facilities. It communicates fully over the Signature Series addressable loop and mounts to any standard Signature Series detector base.
