The Farenhyt IDP-MINIMON is a compact addressable monitor module for IFP-series fire alarm control panels. It interfaces contact devices to the SLC loop, in a footprint small enough to fit a single-gang box.
First, the IDP-MINIMON monitors normally-open dry contacts. Then, the SLC reports the device state back to the FACP using a unique address. In addition, conventional 4-wire smoke detectors can be supervised through the same module for both alarm and trouble.
Common Uses
Specifically, the module interfaces waterflow switches, valve tamper switches, manual pull stations, and 4-wire smoke detectors. As a result, installers can mount it directly behind the monitored device for a clean install.
