The Farenhyt IDP-MONITOR is a compact addressable monitor module for fire alarm systems. It acts as an interface to contact devices. Specifically, it monitors devices such as waterflow switches and pull stations. As a result, the panel can supervise these contacts by address.
Farenhyt IDP-MONITOR module overview
This module reports the status of a supervised initiating circuit. In addition, it supports Class B supervised or Class A supervised wiring. The ivory housing fits standard mounting locations. Also, each module carries its own loop address.
The IDP-MONITOR communicates with the panel over the two-wire SLC loop. Therefore, it integrates with Farenhyt IDP addressable control panels. For example, it works with the IFP-50, IFP-100/ECS, IFP-1000/ECS, and IFP-2000/ECS. This module is UL Listed for fire alarm use.
Typical applications
Use the IDP-MONITOR to bring a contact device onto the addressable loop. For example, waterflow and pull-station contacts are common inputs. Finally, the module helps the system supervise those points by address.
