The Farenhyt (IDP-PHOTO-W) is an intelligent plug-in photoelectric smoke detector. It is engineered for the Farenhyt IFP series intelligent fire alarm control panels.
First, the sensor uses an enhanced optical chamber to detect a wide range of combustion smoke. Then, sensitivity is set in the panel’s software, not on the device. As a result, technicians can tune individual detectors from the panel without removing them. In addition, the panel continuously monitors and reports each detector’s sensitivity.
Point ID and Addressing
Each IDP-PHOTO-W detector is set with rotary decimal address switches. Therefore, every detector reports its exact location to the panel. As a result, selective maintenance is straightforward when chamber contamination reaches an action threshold.
