The Hochiki FN-1042-ULADA-R is a 10 amp NAC power booster in a red enclosure. First, it connects to any 12 or 24 volt fire alarm control panel. As a result, it extends notification capacity beyond the main panel.
Hochiki FN-1042-ULADA-R features
This unit delivers regulated, filtered 24 volt power to notification circuits. Specifically, it supports Class B (Style W or Y) and Class A (Style Z) NAC wiring. In addition, the 10 amp alarm output divides across four circuits. Each output is rated up to 2.5 amps.
The booster also provides a separate 1 amp auxiliary output. Therefore it powers 4-wire smoke detectors. Furthermore, its red housing aids quick identification at the panel. Finally, the unit doubles as a power supply and battery charger.
