The Edwards MN-BRKT1F is a mounting bracket for Edwards MNEC communications modules inside EST3 control panel enclosures. First, it mounts the MN-FVPN VoIP encoder/decoder, MN-ABPM Audio Bridge, or MN-PASM2 preamp signal supervisory booster module. As a result, the modules sit inside the existing EST3 cabinet with no external enclosure required.
This is a passive mounting bracket. Specifically, the Edwards MN-BRKT1F has no electrical interface, no wiring, and no electronic components. Therefore, agency listings (UL, NFPA) flow from the parent fire alarm control panel and the mounted MNEC modules, not from the bracket itself.
Compatible Modules
The MN-BRKT1F supports three Edwards MNEC modules. First, it mounts the MN-FVPN Fire VoIP encoder/decoder for IP-based audio communication between FireWorks nodes. Second, it mounts the MN-ABPM Audio Bridge for panel-mount integration with the 3-ATPINT amplifier interface. Third, it mounts the MN-PASM2 preamp signal supervisory booster.
Application
Use the Edwards MN-BRKT1F when adding MNEC (Mass Notification / Emergency Communications) features to an existing EST3 control panel. Then the mounting bracket lets integrators add VoIP, audio bridging, or signal supervisory functions without external mounting hardware. Furthermore, this approach keeps the MNEC components inside the panel for a clean, self-contained installation.
Installation Notes
The bracket installs inside the EST3 enclosure on factory-provided mounting points. Then the MNEC module attaches to the bracket via the module’s standard mounting holes. Also, the FireWorks workstation should be within 20 feet and in the same room as the MN-NETSW1 when used as part of an MNEC architecture. Finally, run all cabling through conduit per the host panel’s installation manual.
Related Equipment
The MN-BRKT3 and MN-BRKT3F brackets mount MNEC modules inside Edwards APS6A/APS10A Auxiliary Power Supply enclosures. In addition, MN-FVPB1 is a polymer mounting bracket specifically for the MN-FVPN. Therefore, select the bracket that matches both the host enclosure and the modules being installed.
