The Edwards MR-101/C is a single-pole, double-throw auxiliary relay in an enclosure. It provides Form C dry contacts for fire alarm interface work. First, the fire alarm system signals the relay. Then the relay switches an external circuit.
Installers use this relay to coordinate the panel with other equipment. For example, it can trigger HVAC shutdown or door release. In addition, the enclosure protects the contacts and eases mounting.
