Notifier APS-6R Auxiliary Power Supply with 6 Relay Outputs
The Notifier APS-6R is an auxiliary power supply module designed for Notifier ONYX-series fire alarm systems requiring additional 24VDC power capacity or expanded relay output capability. The APS-6R provides both supplemental 24VDC power and six (6) supervised relay output points, making it a dual-function expansion module for complex ONYX installations.
The six relay outputs of the APS-6R can be used for ancillary control functions such as elevator recall, door holder release, HVAC shutdown, or other fire alarm initiated control sequences. Each relay output is supervised, providing trouble indication at the panel if a relay circuit fault is detected.
The APS-6R is compatible with Notifier ONYX-series panels including the NFS-320, NFS2-640, NFS2-3030, AFP-200, AFP-300, AFP-400, and AFP-1010. It is designed for installation within a listed enclosure and should be installed by a qualified fire alarm technician. The APS-6R is an essential module for larger Notifier systems where the main panel’s power budget or relay capacity has been exceeded.
