The Notifier APS-6R is a 150-watt switching auxiliary power supply for fire alarm systems. It delivers filtered 24 VDC power to support added notification appliances, modules, and accessories beyond what the host panel can provide.
First, the APS-6R takes 120 VAC or 240 VAC input. Then it outputs two independent 24 VDC circuits. Each circuit is rated at 3.0 A in alarm and 2.0 A continuous. Therefore, total output capacity reaches 6.0 A in alarm conditions.
The unit includes overload protection on each output circuit. In addition, brown-out circuitry maintains stable operation through input voltage dips. As a result, the APS-6R provides reliable secondary power for expanded fire alarm system loads.

The APS-6R is documented as compatible with the AM2020, AFP1010, NFS-3030, NFS-640, AFC-600, AFP-400, AFP-300, AFP-200, System 5000, and System 500 panels. For newer NFS2-series panels, Notifier specifies the APS2-6R as the current production part.
