The Notifier FCO-951 is a multi-criteria fire and carbon monoxide detector. First, it combines photoelectric smoke sensing with electrochemical CO sensing in a single addressable head. Then, the host panel reads both signals from one address on the FlashScan SLC.
Multi-criteria sensing helps reduce nuisance alarms in environments where dust, steam, or cooking aerosols can trip a single-technology smoke detector. In addition, the integrated CO sensor flags life-safety CO events without requiring a separate CO detector at the same location.

Ordering Notes
- Confirm your panel firmware supports the FCO-951 — multi-criteria CO detectors require panel firmware that recognizes the CO type code.
- Order the matching addressable base separately if you do not already have one on hand.
- CO sensors have a finite service life — plan replacement on the manufacturer’s published cycle.
