The Notifier NC-100 is an addressable control module for FireWarden series fire alarm panels. It switches 24 VDC power to notification appliances. Specifically, it drives horn and strobe circuits on command from the panel.
How the NC-100 works
First, the module connects to the FireWarden Signaling Line Circuit (SLC). In addition, the SLC powers it directly at 15 to 32 VDC. As a result, no separate supply wiring is needed at the module.
The NC-100 uses direct-decade addressing. Therefore, it sets to address 01-99 on the FireWarden-100-2 and 01-50 on the FireWarden-50. Also, the panel supervises the circuit for faults.
Compatibility
This module is built specifically for the Notifier FireWarden series. However, it is not interchangeable with ONYX or NFS series panels. Furthermore, the NC-100 is UL 864 listed for fire alarm control equipment.
