Altronix (RBST) 6/12/24v 2amp relay module

The Altronix RBST is a snap-track DPDT relay module. It is selectable for 6VDC, 12VDC, or 24VDC coil operation from a single board.

First, decide the coil voltage. The board ships factory-set for 6VDC. Then cut jumper J2 for 12VDC, or cut jumper J1 for 24VDC.

In addition, the RBST handles four documented wiring patterns. Therefore, the same board covers dry contact extension, polarity reversal, line seizure, and latching dry contact applications.

Application Notes

The RBST is a board-level interface relay. It is not itself a UL-listed fire alarm device. Therefore, in a life-safety installation the host panel carries the agency listing. Furthermore, the installer must follow the host panel’s listed wiring instructions at the system level.

RBST vs. RB1224 and RB524

Choose the RBST when you need 6VDC, 12VDC, or 24VDC coil flexibility. Alternatively, pick the RB1224 if you need higher 5A contacts (12V or 24V coil). Also consider the RB524 if your supply is fixed at 24VDC and you need 5A switching.
