The Edwards REL-47K-BP is a remote end-of-line resistor rated at 47,000 ohms. It ships in a package of ten. First, you install it at the end of a supervised circuit. Then the panel can monitor that circuit for faults.
End-of-line resistors complete the electrical path on a supervised circuit. As a result, the panel detects opens, shorts, and wiring faults. In addition, bulk packaging keeps spares on hand for larger jobs.
