The Resideo (958) is a heavy-duty overhead door magnetic contact. First, it monitors whether an overhead door or rolling gate is open or closed. Also, it suits commercial and industrial access points needing reliable position sensing.
This contact uses an SPST switch on a normally closed loop. Therefore, it signals when a protected door opens. In addition, its wide gap tolerates the movement common to large overhead doors.
