The RSG SP-1-KS is a single-pole SP Series pull station fitted with the Pre-Signal Key Switch (KS) option. Specifically, a separate keyed contact lets staff escalate from pre-alarm to general alarm. Furthermore, the SP-1 base uses a normally-open toggle switch.
First, a standard pull activates the pre-signal stage on a supporting fire alarm control panel. Then a keyholder turns the integrated key contact. As a result, the panel transitions to a general-alarm condition once staff confirm a real event.

The KS (key switch) option pairs with two-stage pre-signal panel programming. Furthermore, it suits hospitals, hotels, and high-rise sites that want a staff-investigation window.
