The System Sensor RTS2 is a multi-signaling remote test and reset station. It works with up to two 4-wire conventional duct smoke detectors. As a result, technicians can test and reset detectors from one convenient location.
A key switch selects which connected detector to control. Then a push-button performs the test, the reset, or both. In addition, the station supports sensitivity readings using the optional SENS-RDR reader.
System Sensor RTS2 Functions
The RTS2 includes an onboard sounder for audible alarm indication. Specifically, it produces 85 dBA at ten feet. Therefore, staff receive a clear local alert during an alarm.
The unit operates on 20 to 29 VDC. Also, current draw stays low in standby and trouble. This makes the RTS2 easy to add to most conventional systems.
