The Hochiki S723 is a FireNET L@titude Network Module. It provides Ethernet and IFAM networking for FireNET L@titude analog addressable fire alarm panels.
First, the S723 plugs into the L@titude main chassis. Then it bridges the panel to peer L@titude panels via IFAM or Ethernet. As a result, a multi-panel campus can act as one logical system.

How the Hochiki S723 Fits the L@titude Architecture
In addition, the S723 carries event, status, and command traffic between peer panels. Specifically, networked L@titude nodes share global cause-and-effect, common annunciation, and event-log replication. However, only L@titude-family panels exchange traffic through this module.
Also, fire alarm contractors use the S723 to extend a single L@titude panel into a wider network. Therefore, large-site projects can stay on one product family rather than mixing controllers.
