The Siemens SET-MC-R is a red wall speaker strobe for indoor emergency notification. First, the speaker delivers clear voice and tone signaling. Then the multi-candela strobe provides synchronized visual alerting. As a result, the SET-MC-R warns occupants by both sound and light.
This ‘SET’ series wall appliance offers field-selectable candela. Therefore, installers can set 15, 30, 75, or 110 candela to match the space. The speaker operates on 25 or 70 VRMS circuits. In addition, power taps range from 1/8 watt up to 8 watts.
Siemens SET-MC-R speaker strobe features
A Xenon flashtube behind a rugged Lexan lens flashes once per second. Also, the strobe synchronizes through Siemens DSC modules, Siemens addressable panels, FireFinder XLS and MXL panels, and PAD-3 or PAD-4 extenders. In/Out screw terminals accept #12 to #18 AWG wire. Furthermore, the grille mounts to standard electrical hardware.
