The Siemens SET-MC-CW is a white ceiling speaker strobe for indoor emergency notification. First, the speaker delivers clear voice and tone signaling. Then the multi-candela strobe adds synchronized visual alerting. As a result, the SET-MC-CW notifies occupants by sound and light.
This ‘SET’ series ceiling appliance offers field-selectable candela. Therefore, installers can set 15, 30, 75, or 95 candela for ceiling coverage. The speaker operates on 25 or 70 VRMS circuits. In addition, power taps range from 1/8 watt up to 8 watts.
Siemens SET-MC-CW speaker strobe features
A Xenon flashtube sits behind a rugged Lexan lens and flashes once per second. Also, the strobe synchronizes through Siemens DSC modules, Siemens addressable panels, FireFinder XLS and MXL panels, and PAD-3 or PAD-4 extenders. The unit mounts to standard ceiling hardware. Furthermore, In/Out terminals accept #12 to #18 AWG wire.
