Edwards (SIGA-MP2) Signature module mounting plate, 1/2-footprint. space for up to two 2-gang signature modules or four 1-gang signature modules

The Edwards SIGA-MP2 Mounting Plate is a Signature Series passive aluminum bracket. It mounts in any standard 1/2 footprint OPTION module position inside an EST equipment enclosure. As a result, the SIGA-MP2 removes the need for gang boxes when housing multiple Signature modules in a common cabinet.

Edwards SIGA-MP2 module capacity

The mounting plate accepts up to two large Signature modules per plate. Large modules include the SIGA-CC1, SIGA-CC2, and SIGA-UM. Alternatively, the plate accepts up to four small Signature modules per plate. Small modules include the SIGA-CT1, SIGA-CT2, SIGA-CR, SIGA-MM1, and SIGA-WTM. In addition, the plate accommodates any combination of large and small modules within those slot limits.

Mounting in the enclosure

First, disconnect power to the enclosure before installing or removing the SIGA-MP2. Then snap the plate onto the two standoffs located on the inside left or right wall of the enclosure. Either side is suitable depending on the enclosure layout. The plate requires one 1/2 standard module footprint of space.

Module attachment

The black metal mounting frame supplied with each SIGA module MUST be removed before snapping the module onto the SIGA-MP2. Squeeze the snap-on tabs at the back of the module and remove the frame. Then pop the module snap-on tabs into the mounting-plate openings; tabs lock into place when fully seated.
