The Silent Knight EVS-LOC is the Local Operating Console for the Emergency Voice System. First, it gives responders a single point to manage the fire alarm and voice system. As a result, operators can direct an evacuation quickly and clearly.
Silent Knight EVS-LOC controls and display
A supervised onboard microphone supports live voice announcements. In addition, the console performs full annunciator functions, including system silence and reset. It also features a backlit 4-line by 40-character LCD, showing up to 160 characters.
Programmable operation
Four programmable buttons handle complex or routine tasks. Therefore, technicians can streamline common commands during an event. Furthermore, the EVS-LOC pairs with the EVS-RVM remote voice module, the EVS-SW24 switch expander, and the EVS-VCM.
Compatibility and listings
The console works with the Silent Knight 5820XL-EVS and 6820EVS panels. Finally, it complies with UL 864, UL 2572, and NFPA 72 for fire and mass notification systems.
