The Simplex 4099-9004 is a single-action addressable manual pull station. Its catalog number is 06501205. The station operates on Simplex IDNet or MAPNET II addressable communication loops.
First, the housing carries the familiar Simplex single-action lever. Then, a compact Integral Addressable Module (IAM) inside the station handles all loop communication. As a result, the panel polls each station individually for status. Therefore, you get exact device-level identification on alarm.
How the Simplex 4099-9004 Works
Single-action means one firm downward pull activates the alarm. Specifically, no need to push, lift, or perform a second motion. In addition, the integral LED flashes during normal polling. However, the LED goes steady on when the station is in alarm.
Also, power and data share a single wire pair on the IDNet/MAPNET II loop. As a result, only two conductors run to each station.
