The Simplex 4605-7401, also known as the 565-802 board, is a 24-point programmable input/output (I/O) module for the Simplex 4010 addressable fire alarm control panel. Each of the 24 I/O points is individually selectable as either an input or an output. Four input types are supported: unsupervised switch, supervised for open, supervised for open or short, and monitored three-position H.O.A. (hand-off-auto). Outputs are rated 24 V at 75 mA each (1.8 A total maximum at 32 VDC) and are selectable for continuous on, slow flash, or fast flash. The 4605-7401 communicates with the 4010 panel via N2 serial communications; up to six total annunciator modules are supported per system. Input supply voltage is 18–32 VDC; module operating current is 60 mA at 24 VDC. Wiring connections accept 18–14 AWG wire. UL listed to Standard 864, ULC, CSFM Listed, FM Approved, MEA (NYC) accepted.
