The Wheelock SPMB4Z is a splitter mounting bracket for SafePath audio systems. It holds the SP4Z-A/B audio splitter inside a SafePath booster enclosure. As a result, installers can add zone expansion without a separate housing.
First, the bracket mounts inside an SPB-160 or SPB-80/4 audio booster. Then it sits over the SPBPS 24 VDC power supply. In addition, a single SPMB4Z supports up to two SP4Z-A/B splitters.
