The Space Age SSU-MR-101/C/R is a multi-voltage control relay in a red metal enclosure. It switches circuits for fire alarm and building control. Specifically, it provides single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switching.
Space Age SSU-MR-101/C/R operation
First, the relay accepts one of four control input voltages. In addition, it wires for 24 VDC, 24 VAC, 120 VAC, or 230 VAC at the matching terminals. As a result, one part covers many interface needs.
The SPDT contacts are rated 10 amps. Also, a red LED lights when the coil is energized. Therefore, a technician can confirm relay status at a glance.
Durability and use
This relay is UL recognized and rated for 10,000,000 mechanical operations. Furthermore, the red metal housing mounts to a surface for easy field installation. Installers commonly use it for equipment shutdown, door holders, HVAC interface, and auxiliary control.
