The STI STI-7510E is a clear polycarbonate enclosure with exterior key lock and an open back box (spacer) for flush-mount applications. First, the installer flush-mounts the open spacer. Then the hinged cover locks with the exterior key. As a result, the STI-7510E protects a flush-mounted device with key-controlled access from the outside.
What the STI STI-7510E is built for
Flush-mounted keypads and annunciators look clean but still need protection from impact and tampering. However, interior key access is impractical in public spaces. Therefore, the STI-7510E uses an exterior key lock plus an additional eyelet for a secondary safety seal or padlock.
