The STI EM243608A1 is a horizontal-mount metal protective cabinet with built-in AC and heater. First, it houses a fire alarm control panel in extreme-temperature locations. Then, the integrated AC/heater unit holds the interior within the panel’s operating range. As a result, panel reliability is preserved through the seasons.

First, the cabinet is fabricated from heavy-duty 14-gauge metal. In addition, the finish is a baked-enamel coat for corrosion resistance. Specifically, the horizontal-mount footprint is 24 in. H x 36 in. W x 8 in. D. Therefore, panels rated for that envelope fit with airflow clearance.
AC and heater system
First, the AC unit delivers 800 BTU. Then, the heater is rated 150 W. Specifically, the unit runs on 115 VAC, 3.6 A, 60 Hz. Also, a 240 VAC 50/60 Hz variant is available. Furthermore, the AC/heater cycles while a fan runs continuously to keep interior temperature uniform.
Inside capacity and security
First, the cabinet protects a unit up to 33 in. H x 21 in. W x 6 in. D, with clearance for airflow. In addition, two 1/4-turn latches deter unauthorized entry.
