The STI STI-8100-BK or W listing covers the Smoke Detector Damage Stopper® in black or white. This flush-mount polycarbonate cover protects smoke detectors where vandalism or physical abuse is severe. As a result, it helps stop false fire alarms and costly detector damage.

STI molds these covers from durable polycarbonate rated -40°F to 120°F (-40°C to 49°C). However, the detector stays serviceable — the cover removes easily for cleaning and maintenance. Also, the detector’s LED remains visible through the cover.
