The System Sensor 2WTR-B is a two-wire, plug-in i3 photoelectric smoke detector with a thermal sensor and a relay. First, it senses smoke through its photoelectric optical chamber. In addition, a fixed 135°F heat sensor provides a second route to alarm.
The “R” in the model name marks the onboard Form-C relay output. Therefore, the detector can switch an auxiliary circuit on alarm. As a result, it supports functions like fan shutdown or door release through a conventional i3 system.

This detector uses a plug-in design for quick install and service. Also, the i3 platform is conventional rather than addressable. Furthermore, drift compensation and maintenance signaling help limit nuisance alarms and guesswork.

Operating voltage is 12/24V nominal (8.5 to 35 VDC). Also, average standby current is about 50 µA. Furthermore, the operating temperature range is 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 49°C).
