The System Sensor B114LP is a 4-wire plug-in relay detector base for conventional smoke detector heads. Specifically, it accepts the System Sensor 2151 photoelectric and 1151 ionization heads. In the U.S. it also supports the 2151T model.
The base provides screw terminals for power, ground, and relay connections. In addition, terminals support an optional RA400Z or RA100Z remote annunciator. A built-in resistor limits current when the attached detector goes into alarm.

The base measures 6.2 in across and 0.95 in high, and weighs 0.6 lb. It mounts to 3.5-inch octagon, 4-inch octagon, or 4-inch square boxes with at least 1.5 inches of depth. Operating range is 32°F to 120°F at 10-93% relative humidity, non-condensing. Per the manual, the listed electrical rating for base plus detector is a 120 VAC, 60 Hz system. Therefore, always confirm panel and loop compatibility against the I56-0598 installation manual before wiring.
