The System Sensor LENS-A3 is an amber colored lens attachment for SpectrAlert Advance and L-Series strobes. First, it snaps onto a plain strobe device to change its output color to amber. As a result, installers can repurpose standard strobes for colored signaling.
Amber lenses serve non-fire applications only. Specifically, they support mass notification, severe weather warning, and general emergency response. They are not used for standard fire alarm notification, which requires clear or white strobes.
Where the System Sensor LENS-A3 fits
The lens attaches to plain, non “FIRE” marked SpectrAlert Advance strobes, horn strobes, speaker strobes, and strobe-only devices. In addition, it works with wall and ceiling strobes. It also suits indoor and outdoor installations.
