The System Sensor RFP is a red retrofit plate for fire alarm upgrades. It measures 9.5 by 7 inches. As a result, it covers the larger footprint left by a legacy SpectrAlert wall-mount speaker strobe.
When you replace an older device with a newer, smaller unit, old holes and marks remain. Therefore, the RFP hides them for a clean, finished look. In addition, the red color matches standard fire alarm hardware.
