The System Sensor SS-PHOTO-R is an intelligent, addressable photoelectric smoke detector. First, its redesigned optical chamber senses smoke from a wide range of fire sources. Then, point ID and rotary address switches report each detector’s exact location. As a result, the panel pinpoints alarms and monitors sensitivity continuously. The “-R” version is also remote-test capable for DNR(W) duct smoke detectors.
System Sensor SS-PHOTO-R features
The SS-PHOTO-R supports current SK, LiteSpeed, and SS Protocol systems. In addition, dual LEDs provide 360-degree visibility for status and alarm. Then, programmable sensitivity lets technicians tune the detector to its environment. Also, low standby current eases loop power planning. Furthermore, the slim profile and plug-in base simplify installation and service. Because it is remote-test capable, it pairs with DNR(W) duct housings.
