The Tyco (57-376-4-135) is a Series TY-FRB extended coverage horizontal sidewall sprinkler. It is a decorative, quick-response glass bulb sprinkler. Therefore, it protects rooms from a sidewall position.
This sprinkler mounts on the wall, not the ceiling. First, it threads into a 1/2 in. NPT fitting. Then it throws water horizontally across the coverage area.
