The Vesda VEP-A10-P-UL is a VESDA-E aspirating smoke detector built for very early warning fire detection. First, it draws air continuously through a sampling pipe network. Then a laser detection chamber analyzes that air for smoke. As a result, it warns of a developing fire long before standard point detectors react.
This model carries a plastic enclosure and a 3.5″ LCD display. It is listed to UL 268 (7th edition). Therefore it suits demanding spaces such as data centers, telecom rooms, and electrical equipment areas.
Vesda VEP-A10-P-UL features
First, Flair detection technology delivers stable, high-sensitivity performance over the detector’s life. In addition, multi-stage filtration and clean-air optical protection keep the chamber clean. The four-pipe sampling network supports up to 560 m (1,837 ft) of pipe. Also, four alarm levels let you tune the response to each environment.
Furthermore, the detector logs up to 20,000 events for diagnostics and analysis. Ethernet and WiFi connectivity come standard. As a result, technicians commission and monitor the unit more easily.
