The Vesda VIC-010 is a VESDAnet Interface Card for LaserFOCUS detectors. Specifically, it adds VESDAnet communication to the VLF-250 and VLF-500. First, the card plugs into the detector. Then, it links that detector onto the VESDAnet network.
VESDAnet connects VESDA detectors, displays, programmers, and remote units on one network. As a result, technicians can configure and monitor devices locally or remotely. In addition, the card uses fault-tolerant communication for added reliability.
What the Vesda VIC-010 does
The VIC-010 extends the capability of a LaserFOCUS detector. Furthermore, it lets you add remote displays and remote relays to the VLF. Also, diagnostic LEDs show the card’s status. Therefore, installation and checkout stay simple.
