This silver STX unit charges and maintains standby batteries from 12 to 24 Ah. Therefore it keeps the system powered during an AC outage. In addition, its housing matches the width and styling of VESDA-E detectors. The result is a clean, integrated installation.
First, mount the power supply near the detector it serves. Then connect AC input, batteries, and the detector load. Finally, the internal charger manages battery condition automatically.
