The Fire-Lite W-DIS-D is the SWIFT wireless display driver for systems using a W-GATE wireless gateway. Specifically, it pairs the W-GATE with a dedicated ANN-80-W annunciator. As a result, the panel can display trouble and supervisory conditions that are unique to W-GATE and its wireless devices. In addition, the W-DIS-D connects to the FACP through the ANN-BUS.
How the Fire-Lite W-DIS-D fits in a SWIFT system
The W-DIS-D is not a standalone display. Instead, it receives event data from the wireless mesh through the W-GATE. Then it forwards those events to a dedicated ANN-80-W for annunciation. Therefore, both the W-DIS-D and an ANN-80-W are required to surface any wireless-specific conditions. Furthermore, all standard fire alarm events continue to display on the host panel as usual.
System rules
Each W-GATE in a system requires its own W-DIS-D. As a result, panels with multiple wireless gateways need a W-DIS-D per gateway. Also, the W-DIS-D is supported on the Fire-Lite MS-9200UDLS and MS-9600LS / MS-9600UDLS control panels.
